Got to spend the afternoon getting to know the folks at Puppets a la carte. We brought out a menagerie of our puppets that they were able to bring to life. Lots of great questions. A lot of fun. It’s always refreshing to see young people excited about puppeteering!

10 YEARS!! Our girls have been performing ‘Forever’ seemingly…forever. Talulah was born 10 years ago this month. 10 years is a long time for a puppet, and it shows. Wrinkles, wear spots, paint touch up, and hot glue. lots of hot glue. If you count the layers of hot glue, you can get her exact age 😂![]()

At the risk of sounding sentimental…we have built a lot of things since we opened our doors (props, puppets, and even complete sets), but this dragon is the one that actually started it all. She’s the reason Stage Monkey exists in the capacity it does. Many projects have come through our shop, but the dragons are the most loved by you all. We have photo evidence to prove it (see images). There’s a good chance that if you’re reading this post, it’s because we met through Talulah or her sister. Both have traveled and performed across the continental U.S. and parts of Canada, and many of you took a moment to sign their crates when they were with you. It means a lot to us and we truly appreciate your show of love. ![]()

We thank you for your continued support and we hope we can give Talulah her long overdue makeover so that she can perform another 10 years. Or maybe forever. 😊
