Shipping Information
Stage Monkey provides several methods of delivery for your rental product. We have established accounts with many shipping and logistics vendors, and will quote you the best price from their offerings.
Below is an explanation of how each work and what you can expect.
Local Pickup
If you’re in Southern California, or within driving range, then we find this to be the most economical solution for most customers. A local pick up is free, and can guarantee that you have the product when you need it. Even through local pickup is by appointment only, we can usually accommodate the customer’s desired day and time (provided the product is available.)
Local pickup works for all of our products, but keep in mind that some items will have vehicle restrictions.
Package Delivery
If it has to ship and it fits in a box, then we will use a parcel delivery service to get our products to you. Such services include United States Postal Service (USPS), FedEx, and UPS. We will find you the most affordable rates from all of our vendors and select the one that meets our minimum requirements for delivery time and insurance.
We will also include the cost of the return shipment, and provide you with a return label to make returning our package as easy as possible!
LTL Freight
For our larger products, we have no choice but to ship via LTL (less than truckload) freight. If this sounds expensive, it’s because it can be. However, our logistics partners can usually get our crates across the country in 5 days or less.
As with package delivery, we will quote you return shipping, and take care of all of the logistics getting the product to you and back. All that is required of your team is to have someone available to meet the driver at your delivery/pickup location.
We try to make the shipping process as easy on you as possible. We know that each production will have its challenges, and we will do our best to ensure we’re not one of those challenges. With that said, all of our shipping methods are through 3rd party vendors, and because of that, we can’t make any guarantees once the parcel has left our hands. But we WILL work to keep you informed of any unplanned changes to your delivery should they arise.
We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about the shipping processes mentioned above.
